Kunle Abrahams is an experienced educator and author with over 25 years stint in the education sector. He had his first degree in English and Literary Studies in 1990 and two Master’s degree qualifications in Book Publishing/Development and Language and Communication Arts from the University of Ibadan. These were also followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from, the University of Calabar. He has been privileged to spend most of his working life in the classroom, teaching the Cambridge English curriculum, apart from other top management positions (rising to the coveted position of member of the SLT-Senior Leadership Team with Oxbridge College, Ikeja, Lagos. His time here was marked by not only initiating many school programmes which have remained part of the school programme till date but also formulating policies with far-reaching impacts on the learning experience of the students. He had a 5-year stint with the British Council, Lagos as an IELTS Examiner, apart from being a certified Speaking Examiner for the Cambridge English qualifications such as KET, PET, CAE, FCE. Kunle ‘s special interest in children is evident in his desire to make learning fun for them having currently written 11 children’s storybooks, which are on reading lists of schools all over Nigeria. Kunle Abrahams’ vision is that of a school that has been hugely influenced by his international exposure in countries such as the United States of America, the UK and UAE. It is a school where creativity is the hallmark because it is probably the only skill which will survive in an uncertain future.
Abimbola Abrahams is a seasoned educator who combines a unique passion for children by equipping them with multi-dimensional knowledge to make them stand out wherever they find themselves in the world. She is an accountant by training, having had her HND (Upper Credit) in Accounting from the prestigious Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara-State, Nigeria in 2013. Subsequently, her passion for children has mostly directed her path to the education sector with her first stint in Pennybridge School, Lagos, Nigeria which she pioneered successfully as Head of School for over 7 years. In pursuit of further equipping herself in the education field, Abimbola completed her Bachelor of Education Degree in Educational Management, coming among the top in her class with a Second Class Upper Degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Her educational vision has been the driving force behind Excellence Havens School, which she currently manages. It is a school fully driven by excellence in all ramifications in terms of educational resources,21st Century curriculum and world standard education to make her school children exceptional wherever they find themselves globally.
